Let Your Inspiration Lead to Action
I know I haven't blogged in a while but I have been busy! Well, I'm back now and I've missed you all; I have so much to tell you! That's why I've decided to come back with a series of short blogs giving you the scoop on everything I've been doing these past few months. Plus, I have a special little treat for my RB Elitists just in time for Halloween!
But first let's start with my first mini blog!
I want to start off with this story because it has always been my philosophy to surround myself with people who motivate me. I even use that same philosophy when it comes to my social media; I follow people who motivate me. I especially love to see strong women doing big things aka Bossettes (lol)!
I have said it before and I'll say it again. God has truly blessed me with an amazing gift, and this gift of mine connects me with so many amazing people. I'm always excited when my gift brings me the opportunity to spend time with the people who inspired me on the daily to get up and go get it!
In the past I have had the pleasure of styling the beautiful Karen Civil a few times, and each time it's been an amazing experience. I enjoy being in the presence of women who's hearts are as big as their hustle. I love having conversations with women who are bosses but are still cool, down to earth people. It's a blessing to go from being motivated by someone through social media to having that person sit in your chair and trust you with their image; it's such an amazing feeling! My passion has taken me from being inspired by Karen Civil to becoming her go-to hair stylist whenever she touches down in Houston. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHAT I DO!
This opportunity is confirmation that the sky's the limit. What you think is too far is really in arms reach. You just have to stop thinking about it and go get it! My journey in Houston has been beyond my wildest dreams but it's only the beginning... Stay tuned for my next blog to find out who I styled next!
P.S. To my RB Elitists check your emails to find out what the special little treat is!
