Everyone knows that Super Bowl is by far the biggest event in football, and easily one of the biggest events in any sport around the world! So, you know a game this big draws big crowds, big events, big parties, and big names. This year it was in Houston, Texas, and as the old saying goes "everything's bigger in Texas" Super Bowl LI did not disappoint! The game was full of suspense and ended with a high emotions. The whole city was on an emotional high. EVERYTHING was popping! lol There were so many people here enjoying everything Houston has to offer; from the arts and parks, to the concerts and parties, and the perfect Spring like weather during that week was the cherry on top. Houston definitely did it big during Super Bowl week!
Once again God opened doors for me. He allowed me to be a part of all the excitement! I was blessed to be a member of the Glam team for the 2017 Maxim Party, a multimillion dollar Super Bowl party featuring Dj Khaled and Travis Scott. The Glam Team styled over 100 models, dancers and hosts' hair from all over the world! This was one of the hottest parties happening during Super Bowl week and they went all out to make sure every model there awed the crowd. I was there for several hours doing what I do best, creating magic with my hands! lol It was a lot of work and I was tired but the rush from all the excitement, my passion for creating, and feeling blessed for being chosen for this opportunity helped me get through that long day.
I met some amazing hair stylist and make up artist with the same drive as me, and we all learned a thing or two from each other in the process. If you know me you know I love being surrounded by people whose drive matches my own, and that night the venue, Smart Financial Centre was packed with those people. Oh, but after our work was done it was time to enjoy the night! Our exclusive backstage passes gave us the opportunity to mix and mingle with a long list of celebrities, athletes, actors/actresses, models, millionaires, and more. There were so many celebrities in attendance including the housewives of Atlanta, Toya, DNCE, Kendra and Hank, James Harden, Nick Cannon, Fergie and so many more. The place was HUGE, the lights were flashing, the music was loud, there was a never ending flow of great food and drinks, and there were beautiful models everywhere; even hanging from the ceiling! lol It looked like a scene from a movie; It was the most sexy, chic, upscale, and just plain amazing party I've ever seen. I can honestly say I felt like I was dreaming the whole time. This was definitely an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Hopefully it won't be a once in a lifetime experience. lol I can't wait for the next one!
